It captures 16 mic and line inputs to your computer with clear sound quality and advanced features to manage big sessions. The audio interface above is the TASCAM US-16 x 08. Simply put: the S16 system gives you fewer headaches, takes less time to set up, and requires less cabling than any typical analog snake system. But it provides you with other great options as well, such as total integration with Behringer’s awesome Powerplay personal monitoring system. Like many that came before it, the Behringer S16 digital snake system provides live sound professionals like you with the convenience of remote-controlled onstage microphone preamps, and it replaces your bulky analog snake with a lightweight and inexpensive Cat 5 Ethernet cable. Every aspect of your mix can be adjusted using the controls on the front of the unit and viewed on the high-resolution 5″ color TFT, and Behringer’s free iPad and iPhone apps provide total remote operation with no host computer required. It’s packed with the comprehensive control and sound quality you want, such as audiophile-quality mic preamps, but all controls are accessible via your mobile device as this racked X32 has no faders. The Behringer X32 Rack will change the way you think about digital mixers.

The audio gear we used is due to the extensive research we have done to produce the best quality audio sound available. I had two separate machines, one for recording and another that I would use to save and edit recordings, which lead to having divergent settings.I have NO AFFILIATE LINKS on this site. I had one set to 44100 and the other 48000. I had a similar sounding problem, and the culprit turned out to be that my ASIO driver's sample rate wasn't in sync with Reaper's recording rate. It's really driving me insane because I got Reaper to mix my portfolio for college in, and I need a first draft of this song in for MondayĪnyone know what it might be? I'm literally out of my mind trying to figure it out! I've tried everything, changing the drivers, disabling other deviced in Windows - my head is wrecked trying to get some understanding of it When I imported a track to listen to, it played back fine, but when I imported a number of tracks from a project I need to work on, there is an incredibly harsh distorted sound throughout the track (almost to the tempo)

I went onto the site and got the ASIO drivers, went to preferences in Reaper, set them to them driver and changed to my card in the drop down menus.

I'm having a similar problem to this for playback with a USB Alesis io2
